I like organic products and was looking for a simple soap made in Japan. I only knew loofah as a scrubbing brush, but it is a base soap made of loofah water, loofah leaf extract, and horse oil. It's a very nice product as it lathers well and doesn't leave you feeling stiff after washing.

I tried using loofah soap to wash the dishes this morning! The rinsing process is quick, which eases the burden of washing dishes that you don't feel like doing. I always wipe off oil stains from frying pans and dishes with a rag before washing them, so we don't have detergents with strong surfactants at home.I keep a pump of coconut flea detergent for my husband to use when he does the dishes, but I feel that the rinsing speed is unique to soap. If you cut a loofah and place it in a soap holder, it will drain easily.
