"Natural Kurukuru Hechimata Eagle" made by rolling the core of a Hechimata eagle.
The loofah is cut open, the core is removed, and the fibers are flattened using a pressure press and processed into body towels, insoles, and bath mats. The core is made of strong, hard fibers to protect the loofah seeds. It's harder than regular loofah, but it's great for cleaning pots and pans, around the sink, and in the bathtub! Loofah dries quickly and is hygienic.

"Hechima" is grown without pesticides at our own farm in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture, and is grown in underground water from the Tateyama Mountain Range of the Northern Alps, and is harvested in autumn. Soak it in water for several days, peel it, and dry it in the sun. Cut open the dried loofah, cut out the core, roll the core and tie it with cotton string. Everything is done by hand, and the process is completed in 12 steps, counting from sowing the seeds.
